Fall light goose migration model for the Pacific Flyway

Bailey developed a fall light goose migration model for the Pacific Flyway for her masters thesis. This was a collaboration with the USGS Western Ecological Research Center. The work was accomplished with the help of Dr. Cory Overton. They analyzed movement data against multiple sets of weather-related covariates using a large data set of GPS-GSM tracking device data. This work is currently being implemented to enhance waterfowl protection at an industrial site. The manuscript is currently being edited by the authors and the goal is for publication by summer 2024.
